For visiting boats
La Darsena – Marina Vieste is the visitor pontoon in Vieste harbour at the tip of the Gargano, run for more than thirty years: it is the third pontoon to port as you enter, on the south mole. It has about a hundred berths for boats up to 30 m, with 1.6 to 3.8 m alongside; 16–32 A power, drinking water included, hot showers, a coin laundry, help with refuelling and small repairs. The marineros answer on VHF 12 round the clock. Watch out for surge in north-easterlies and the shallow passage by Sant'Eufemia island; the Tremiti islands are about 12 miles away.
