ACI marina Palmižana lies in the bay of the same name on the north-east coast of Sv. Klement, the largest of the Pakleni islands, 2.4 NM from Hvar town. It is open from 1 April to 31 October with 180 berths for boats up to 15 m; larger boats can lie alongside the pier by prior arrangement when the marina is not full. Baba rock lies off the entrance, awash only at low water and lit at night, so give it a wide berth; strong westerlies and south-westerlies can send a swell into the bay. This year the marina is running at reduced capacity because of reconstruction.
