Samos Marina sits on the south-east coast of the island, 500 m from Pythagorio, in a sheltered and quiet spot facing the Anatolian coast. It opened on 1 July 2006 and has 280 berths (133 for 6.5–9.5 m, 129 for 10–16 m, 18 for 17–25 m) plus a quay for yachts up to 50 m, with up to 6 m draught. The yard takes 170 boats, with an 80 t travel lift and a 9 m wide slipway, and there is a fuel station, launderette, chandlery and restaurant. It works VHF channel 9.
