For visiting boats
Port Vauban fills the north end of the Vauban wet basin below the ramparts of the walled town, a step from the Porte Saint-Vincent, and is Saint-Malo's most central stopover. It has 196 berths, around thirty for visitors, on the north pontoons and the Quai Saint-Vincent. Entry is through the Naye lock around high water after a call on VHF 12; inside, the basin stays afloat. Water and power points, wifi, showers and toilets open day and night, and a laundry; the basin hosts big race starts such as the Route du Rhum.

Waiting moorings in the outer harbour. Route du Rhum 2026: no visitors from 30 September to 5 November.
