For visiting boats
Port Olona at Les Sables-d'Olonne is the start and finish port of the Vendée Globe, the solo non-stop round-the-world race sailed every four years (next edition November 2028). Together with the Quai Garnier, closer to town, it offers more than 1,500 berths. The fuel station (diesel and unleaded 95) is right by the reception pontoon; the slipway is next to the Vendée Globe village, and four washroom blocks are open 24 hours with the berth-holder badge. The port also runs dry storage, towing and help with berthing.
