For visiting boats
At the foot of the citadel, at the head of a 9 km gulf, Porto-Vecchio harbour is the town's gateway from the sea, on a harbour site in use since Antiquity (the Roman Portus Syracusanus). It has 350 berths, 150 of them for visiting boats, and takes yachts up to 50 m. Harbour office on quai Pascal Paoli, washrooms (6 showers, 8 WCs, step-free access), laundry, free wifi, water and power on every pontoon; booking is online via the Corsican marinas' union. Municipal harbour, VHF channel 9.
