For visiting boats
Sõru marina on the south coast of Hiiumaa is a historic fishing harbour with the Sõru museum, a maritime centre and a boat shed, home of Estonia's largest surviving old ship, the three-masted motor schooner "Ernst Jaakson" ("Alar"). The small-craft harbour has 45 berths for boats up to 24 m and winter storage in the boat shed. Sõru Sea School teaches sailing here, and the Sõru Jazz festival takes over the harbour in summer.
