For visiting boats
Klintholm Havn lies on the south coast of Møn in Hjelm Bugt, a few miles south of the chalk cliffs of Møns Klint, and is a natural stop on the route between Germany, Sweden, Bornholm and Zealand – more than 10,000 boats call each summer. The harbour is owned by Vordingborg municipality and has a commercial and fishing harbour and a marina; the outer basin is used mainly by commercial vessels and large schooners. Approach by the southern entrance with the Fl.R and Fl.G pierhead lights – the northern entrance has silted to as little as 1.5 m. The east-going current is turned south by the harbour and runs across the entrance, and the outer harbour is uneasy in south-westerlies, while the inner harbour is good in all winds. Harbour dues include power, water, Wi-Fi, showers and laundry, and there is diesel and petrol at the machine by the harbour office, three slipways, a crane on request, cafés and restaurants, and beaches on both sides of the harbour.
