For visiting boats

Gilleleje Havn on the north coast of Zealand is the island's largest fishing harbour, with a fish auction, yards and fishmongers side by side with a marina for 220 resident boats, right by the old town. The harbour is owned by Gilleleje Havnelaug. There are no dedicated guest berths and no reservations – look for a green sign in the marina; in summer parts of the fishing harbour are opened to yachts close to the restaurants. The harbour fee covers toilets, showers and wifi, and there is diesel from a pump, a 19-tonne crane and slipways. Watch for strong current in the entrance in NW or SE gales, and note that entering in an onshore gale can be difficult.

Guest berths
No dedicated guest berths – look for green signs. Pay by card at the machine and show the date sticker; the wifi code is on the receipt. Speed limit 2 knots. The sandbar off the outer mole is only dredged once depth falls below 3.5 m.
