For visiting boats

Anholt Havn lies on the western point of the island in the middle of the Kattegat and is one of the busiest guest harbours in Denmark in summer. It has an outer basin to the west and north and an inner basin to the south-east; larger yachts may be directed to the outer harbour, and anchoring in the outer harbour needs permission from the harbour staff. Sand drifting from the south often leaves less than 3.7 m around the pierheads, especially the southern one, so keep within the sector 292°–310° from the entrance, where there is normally at least 4.2 m; outside the entrance the current almost always sets north across the approach. Diesel, paraffin and petrol are available in limited quantities, with a workshop, kiosk and restaurant in season, and the village is 2.5 km inland. Keep the ferry berth clear.
