For visiting boats

Heiligenhafen Marina is owned by the town's transport and harbour company (HVB) and, with about 1,000 berths on 15 pontoons, is one of the big harbours on the Baltic between Fehmarn Sound and Kiel Bay. It lies sheltered – even in a strong north-westerly – right in town; it is five minutes' walk across the fishing harbour to the centre, the beach and the Graswarder nature reserve. Every berth has electricity and water, and there is the marina's own diesel berth, a pump-out at pontoon 1C, free waste-oil disposal and washers and dryers at pontoons 3 and 8. Note: berths in the line of the Heiligenhafen-Warder leading light are for boats under 5 m air draught only – no sailing yachts; coming from the west, steer for the fairway buoy first, as the shoal off the Warder keeps moving.

Guest berths
Guest berths are assigned by the harbour master. Refuel only at the fuel berth – no jerrycan filling. Free shuttle for guests to the railway station during service hours, by arrangement with the harbour service.
