Hamburger Yachthafen lies in Wedel on the north bank of the Lower Elbe, just west of the Hamburg city boundary, and with about 2,000 berths is one of Germany's largest leisure harbours. It is run by the Hamburger Yachthafen-Gemeinschaft e.V. Boats up to 22 m fit, with up to 3.5 m of water; there is a fuel berth (April to October), a mast crane, crane and slipway, winter storage and a restaurant. Visitors pay by boat length per day or for 30 days; arrival and departure day count together as one day.
