For visiting boats
Kühlungsborn Marina lies right on the resort's 4 km beach promenade, 24 nm east of Wismar and 12 nm west of Warnemünde. Completed in 2005, the municipal harbour has room for more than 400 boats on five lit floating pontoons with power (16 and 32 A) and water; the basin is 3 to 3.50 m deep, and strong offshore winds can lower the water level markedly. There is a 25 t slewing crane, a mast crane, a slipway, a boat-wash area and a fuel berth with GTL marine diesel (daily 09–11); holding tanks are emptied free of charge. Power, water, showers, wifi and waste are included in the berth fee.
