For visiting boats
The Porto Regionale di Locarno on the Lungolago Motta, at the northern end of Lake Maggiore, opened in 2001 and has 374 berths for boats of all sizes. Since 2007 a floating service platform has housed showers, laundry and the marina office; wi-fi is free and staff help with mooring. Transit berths are allocated by the harbour master, with daily and weekly rates in five length categories for high and low season. Locarno's town centre is a short walk away.
