For visiting boats

Confederation Basin Marina is Kingston's downtown marina, right in front of City Hall behind the Shoal Tower and across the water from Fort Henry, where Lake Ontario meets the St. Lawrence and the Rideau. It has 350 finger-dock slips for power and sail boats up to 30 m (100 ft), with power and water, private washrooms and showers, laundry and an accessible day dock. Transient boats send a booking request at least 48 hours ahead and call the marina on VHF 68 as they approach for a slip assignment; rates are per foot of the greater of LOA or slip length. There is no fuel or pump-out in the basin — both are at Portsmouth Olympic Harbour, about 3 km west.
