For visiting boats

The Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania marina is on the western shore of the River Derwent at Sandy Bay, a few minutes from Hobart's waterfront. It has about 210 berths on floating pontoons for boats from 10 to 20 metres, all with power and water, plus temporary berthing for larger visitors; casual stays run from a night to six months and are booked through the club's berth enquiry. The floating fuel berth sells diesel and unleaded around the clock, card at the bowser, in about 4 m at low tide. A small boatyard next to the marina handles haul-outs, antifouling and hardstand stays.
