For visiting boats
Constitution Dock is the historic dock in Sullivans Cove on Hobart's waterfront, entered through a lifting bridge from the River Derwent. It and the neighbouring Victoria Dock and Kings Pier Marina are run by the port authority TasPorts for visiting boats under 35 m, with power and water on the berths and toilets, showers, a pump-out point and a waste compound at Kings Pier. Visitors arrange a berth with TasPorts Southern Operations during business hours, or with Hobart VTS on VHF 12 after hours, and book the bridge openings in advance. The city centre, Salamanca Place and the fish punts are a few steps away.
