For visiting boats

The Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club marina at Green Point, Newport, is a fully floating concrete marina on Pittwater with 342 berths for boats up to 30 m, open around the clock with power and water on every berth. Visitors are welcome on casual berths or on the club's moorings, which take boats up to 22 m and come with a free seven-day tender service. The boatyard has a 50-tonne travel lift (up to about 75 ft and 5.7 m beam), two hardstands for 83 boats, cranes and a ramp, with shipwrights, mechanics, riggers and electricians on site. Ashore there are 24-hour showers and toilets, a laundry, pump-out, gas refills and the club bistro — a good base for cruising Broken Bay, Cowan Creek and the Hawkesbury.
