For visiting boats

Emmersdorf sports boat harbour on the left bank of the Danube opposite Melk was created when the Melk hydro plant was built, replacing the berths in the Melk arm, and is run by the BootsSportFörderungsVerein 3644 Emmersdorf. Seven main pontoons with water and power hold 168 berths, and since 2007 the north pontoon takes boats over 9 m and visitors. There is a sanitary building with a terrace, a municipal slipway by the entrance, and the basin was last dredged in 2002 so it can be entered even at low water.

Guest berths
Guest boats and boats over 9 m use the north pontoon. Enter between the lock reporting pontoon (port) and the spit (starboard); the reporting pontoon in front of the entrance is for short stops only. A mobile fuel truck comes every Friday 16:00–18:00.
