Overview
Wisby Sailing Club, founded in 1883, is one of Sweden's oldest sailing clubs, based at its clubhouse in Slottshamnen, Visby. Racing and cruising have shaped the club from the start, and in 1907–1908 it hosted the Wisby Cup between Dalarö and Visby, forerunner of the Visby races. Today it runs rounds of the Gotland championship, club championships and evening series off Visby, and its certified sailing school sails the club's six 606 keelboats.
