Overview
Westerås Sailing Club was founded in 1883 and is one of Sweden's oldest sailing clubs. Its base is the club island Kedjeön in Västeråsfjärden, east of Ridön and south of the Fröholmen light, with a harbour, clubhouse and summer junior sailing camps. The club runs practice races, the West Mälaren sailing series and the Höstkroken autumn regatta, and members' boats are laid up ashore at Lövudden in Västerås.
