Overview
Stockholm Sailing Club was founded in 1895 and is one of Stockholm's oldest sailing clubs, with four harbours and two boatyards on Lake Mälaren: Västerbrohamnen in the city centre, Tranebergshamnen, Bergvik harbour and yard in Bromma, and the club island Rastaholm off Ekerö. Dinghy sailing runs from Västerbrohamnen and Bergvik in Optimist, Zoom8, Laser and C55, and Rastaholm hosts sailing camps for 8–16-year-olds every summer. For decades the club has run the autumn regatta on Björkfjärden. The harbours are run by the members themselves.
