Overview
Yacht Klub Polski Kraków has its harbour on the Vistula in Nowa Huta, below the Wanda bridge at the end of ul. Klasztorna – in use since 1955, when the steelworks builders' sea club was set up here. The club, formerly Yacht Club Nowa Huta, runs a sailing school and youth racing training on the Vistula and Kraków's Bagry lake (Optimist), yacht-sailor courses and Omega rental. A dozen or so boats are kept at the harbour in sheds or outside; there are changing rooms with showers and a floating pontoon.
