Overview
The Bydgoszcz Rowing Society was founded in 1920, right after Bydgoszcz returned to Poland, and has trained rowers on the Brda for more than a century. The club has produced Olympians and Olympic medallists, and a club four represented Poland at the 1960 Rome Olympics. Today BTW focuses on young rowers – in 2026 they won four medals at the national youth games, and a club rower sits in the national eight.
