Overview
Trondhjems Seilforening was founded in 1895 and is the largest sailing club in central Norway, with about 600 members and some 160 boats. The clubhouse is at Skansen by Ila in Trondheim, and the club runs the Skansen and Kanalhavna marinas, a service yard at Orkanger and a mooring field and cabin on Cuba off Tautra. The racing programme includes the Kystseilasen coastal race, Grautskjeia to Tautra, the Glohane race and the Autumn Trophy, plus club series and double-handed racing. The club's 'empire of Cuba' glohane tradition goes back to 1898.
