Overview

Soon Seilforening was founded on 18 February 1919 in Son on the Oslofjord; for many years its clubhouse was the well-known venue Klubben, and since 1986 the club has been based in the Neptun clubhouse with its own pontoons. It has about 400 members, and activities range from dinghy sailing for children to offshore sailing, with a J/70 group, LadiesSailing for women and a regular keelboat club series through the season. The club regularly hosts larger events such as national championships, Norgescup rounds and the Hollænderen regatta.
