Overview
Risør Seilforening is based at the Finnøya sailing centre just outside the white wooden town of Risør, with a service building, floating pontoons and guest berths. The club runs a series of regattas through the year, most started from Kastellet on fixed marks, and has hosted everything from junior world championships and national championships to the Sørlandscup. The sailing school for children and youth uses Optimist, A-jolle and RS Feva in spring and autumn terms, and there are sailing courses for adults too.
