Overview
Lillesand Seilforening, founded in 1885, has its sailing base at Kokkenes in Lillesand. The dinghy group brings children, young people and adults together two evenings a week through the season, with pool training before Easter and a summer sailing school in the first weeks of the school holidays, and the club has a large fleet of dinghies and boards. The board group lends windsurfers, wing-foil and SUP boards free to members and runs beginner courses in spring and autumn. Cruiser-racers have a club series in small and large classes, Round Ågerøya and the FLØDE race, the club fields a Sailing League team, and there are adult sailing courses and a joint haul-out for winter storage. Note that the base has no guest berths.
