Overview
Fredrikstad Seilforening is based at Andersenslippen in Vikane on the Onsøy side of Fredrikstad, just inside Hankø, with a clubhouse and its own pontoons where vacant berths are let to visitors. The club co-organises Hankø Race Week with KNS and runs the Homlungen race with Hvaler Seilforening – a regatta whose tradition goes back to 1866 – as well as the corporate regatta Bedriftsseilasen and the short-handed Twostar race. The dinghy group sails Optimist and Zoom8, and there is a summer sailing school for children every year. Cruiser-racers have their own club races through the season.
