Overview
Jachtclub “Veere” was founded on 13 February 1960 and runs the town harbour in the middle of historic Veere, looking at the town hall and the Campveerse Toren, on the Veerse Meer. The club has about 150 permanent berths and a clubhouse with bar and restaurant. Every year it sails the Haringrace in June and the Snertrace to close the season, long-course races under SW handicap with a social programme afterwards, hosts Eredivisie Zeilen events, and runs cruises in company and youth sailing in club boats.
