Overview
Kambīze Water Sports Club is an association founded in 2011 that runs a windsurfing school with training bases on the Daugava – at Ikšķile (end of Zemturu iela) and Daugmale. It teaches windsurfing to children and juniors aged 7 to 16 from first steps to racing level, and offers private and family lessons for all ages. The racing squad trains from 1 May to 30 September, beginners in June–August; all coaches are certified sailing coaches. Club sailors race BIC Techno, Raceboard, slalom and Formula Foil.
