Overview
Skulte Yacht Club is a sailors' association founded in 2017 in Skulte Port at the mouth of the Aģe river near Saulkrasti, about five minutes from the open sea. It has more than 30 members and 19 boats – yachts and motor cruisers – and its members are mainly cruising sailors. A new pontoon with eight extra long-term berths opened in August 2025, and visiting boats mostly lie on the right bank of the Aģe on the port authority side. With the Nautica skipper school the club offers practical sailing lessons.
