Overview
Panevėžys Yacht Club was officially founded in 1990, although its first Midsummer (Joninės) regatta on Lake Rubikiai was sailed back in 1985. The club brings together about 40 active sailors from the Aukštaitija region who sail on lakes and at sea, and every year it runs the Midsummer regatta on Lake Rubikiai, the Palūšė regatta on Lake Lūšiai and the Kupiškis reservoir regatta.
