Overview
"Marių burės" – the Kintai amateur sailing club, known as Minija Yacht Club – has been a member of the Lithuanian Sailing Union since 1995. In the village of Minija (Mingė) on the Minija river, on the eastern side of the Curonian Lagoon, the club built its own marina for 75 yachts, a boat shed and a water-tourism centre. Every year it runs the Nemunas Delta Sailing Regatta, a season-closing race and a youth sailing week.
