Overview
Sailing on the Elektrėnai reservoir began in 1962, when the Strėva was dammed to make a reservoir for the power station. The Poseidonas club runs 5–6 club regattas a year for F18 catamarans, 470, Finn, RS Tera and RS Feva, has a children's and youth section, and in 2013 organised the Lithuanian catamaran championship with the LBS.
