Overview
Yacht Club Sanremo has its clubhouse in the middle of Sanremo's Porto Vecchio, where it manages about ninety members' berths and a few short-stay visitor berths with water and power. It is one of the busiest clubs on the Riviera di Ponente: every season it runs international regattas for more than three thousand sailors, from the West Liguria Winter Championship to the 420 and 470 Carnival Race, the Mediterranean Meeting for Optimists and Dragon series. Its Optimist and 420 squads race at top international level; there is a summer youth sailing school and adult courses, and the club restaurant looks over the harbour.
