Overview
Club Vela Granda in Varese is a group of cruising sailors based in the city, sailing mostly on Lake Maggiore around the Cannero castles and also organising trips at sea. It runs a ladder of courses on cruising yachts, from a one-day taster to deck-hand, crew, bosun and day-skipper levels, with theory in the clubhouse and days out on the water.
