Overview

Club Nautico Follonica has its base on the Viale Italia seafront in the Gulf of Follonica in the Maremma, a bay with a mild climate, steady wind and moderate waves that is ideal for learning. It has been active for more than seventy years; its sailing school, started in 1965, now teaches over a hundred pupils a season, most aged 8 to 10, on a fleet of Optimists, Vauriens, a 420 and an RS Feva with FIV instructors. Its members include racers, race officers and umpires active at major events in Italy and abroad.
