Overview
Circolo Nautico Livorno was founded after the war as the Circolo Velico Livornese and is based in the Porticciolo Nazario Sauro on Livorno's Viale Italia seafront. Above all it breeds racers: its sailors have won a lot in Optimist and Laser/ILCA, and the club received the CONI Gold Star in 2010. It runs the autumn Coppa d'Oro, races of the Naval Academy sailing week together with the other Livorno clubs, and courses for all ages, from a children's sailing school to offshore and cruising courses.
