Overview
Circolo Nautico Cervia "Amici della Vela" started in the 1950s as a motorboat club and since 1975, when a group of young sailors joined, has been a full sailing club at Cervia–Milano Marittima. It has about 500 members, youth racing squads, a sailing school for youngsters and adults and an offshore school on the club yachts. It runs the Rotta del Sale, re-enacting the old salt trade route to Venice, and the Palio della Voga rowing race.

History and achievements
