Overview

Waterford Harbour Sailing Club was founded in 1934 at Dunmore East, the fishing village at the mouth of Waterford Harbour, and its clubhouse and new deck look straight over the club moorings and the harbour entrance. Dinghies race every Saturday from May and on Wednesday evenings from June in Optimist, ILCA and 420 fleets, alongside a keelboat and cruiser programme and regular national and regional open events. Summer youth courses, adult sailing, powerboat and VHF courses are run from the club, which keeps Wayfarers for sail training and rental. The club listens on VHF 69.
