Overview
Jadran Rowing Club was founded on 20 September 1908 and is the oldest active sports society in Zadar and the first Croatian rowing club founded on the Adriatic; its roots go back to the rowing section of the Croatian Sokol of 1885. It is one of Zadar's most decorated clubs, with medals from the Olympic Games, world and European championships and the Mediterranean Games. It runs the Dalmatian Rowing Federation cup regatta at Posedarje, the Jadran rowing duel and the Mini Cup regatta, and has a rowing school.
