Overview
Končar Canoe Club in Zagreb has paddled at Jarun, beside the canoe channel, since 1951 and marks 75 years in 2026. Members race kayaks and canoes on flat and white water, and club paddlers compete at wildwater world championships. The club runs the International Sava Kayak Marathon from Samoborski Otok to Zagreb (24 km, 57th edition in 2026), a kayak school for children and recreational courses for adults.
