Overview
Uskok Sailing Club in Zadar has sailed since 1948, when it started as the Zadar Maritime Boating Society at Vruljica; since 1983 it has been based on Cape Vitrenjak. It runs a sailing school for children and adults, and its racers sail Optimists, ILCAs, 420s, 470s and 49ers. Uskok organises the Zadar Regatta, the Vučja regatta, the Christmas Regatta and the "Zadar jedri" sailing day; it hosted the 2011 ISAF Youth Worlds and, in October 2026, the Croatian championships in the 420, 470 and 49er.
