Overview
The Nautical Club of Paros was founded on 29 March 1992 and since 1993 has been based at Livadia in Parikia, 400 m from the ferry port, on a 5,000 m² site with a boathouse, sail loft, classroom and clubhouse café. About 50 sailors race Optimists, Lasers and 420s in the dinghy section, and since 1998 an offshore school has turned out more than 250 qualified skippers. The club also runs windsurfing, a J/24 and a swimming section; more than 2,000 children and adults have learnt to sail and swim here.
