Overview
The Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez grew out of the regattas sailed during the Bravade festival and was founded on 18 May 1899; it now has close to 500 members. Based on Quai Trullet at the Nouveau Port, it has run the Voiles de Saint-Tropez since 1999, successor to the Nioulargue, bringing classic yachts and big modern boats together in the gulf at the end of every September; the 28th edition was sailed in 2026. Its calendar also includes the Voiles d'Automne, the Bravades regatta, the Coupe de l'Hippocampe, an interclub series from February to December and one-design events such as the Cape 31 Gold Cup. Since 2024 the SNST has been the challenger club of the French America's Cup team.
