Overview
Based in Rives harbour on the quai de Ripaille in Thonon-les-Bains, the Société Nautique du Léman Français (Voile Thonon) sails on the French shore of Lake Geneva. Its sailing school runs spring, summer and autumn courses, private lessons and rentals, school sailing for hundreds of children each year and year-round courses in catamarans, dinghies and keelboats from FFVoile level 0 to 5; membership includes the FFVoile licence. Through the season the club runs the Rives Challenge, the evening keelboat week (Semaine du Soir), the Grand Prix de la Ville de Thonon for dinghies and league regattas.
