Overview
Founded in 1878, the Société Nautique de La Trinité-sur-Mer is based on the Éric Tabarly mole in the heart of La Trinité harbour, opening onto Quiberon Bay. The club has about 450 active members and more than a thousand FFVoile licence holders each year; its sailing school and racing school put young sailors in Optimists, Open Skiffs, RS Fevas, ILCAs, Open 5.70s and J/70s. With more than 85 race days a year it is one of France's major regatta organisers: the Spi Ouest-France at Easter, the ArMen Race offshore, La Trinité–Cherbourg, the Voiles Classiques for classic yachts and the autumn Challenges in the bay.
