Overview

Founded on 19 April 1883 and recognised by the Yacht Club de France as early as 1886, the Société des Régates de Douarnenez is based in Tréboul marina at the head of Douarnenez bay. Affiliated to FFVoile, it is organised into hubs: dinghies (Optimist, ILCA, Europe, RS Feva), Dragon, classic yachts and board sports (windsurf, kite). With its fleet of support boats and trained volunteers it runs local to international regattas in the bay all year, from the Brittany dinghy championship to the Douarnenez Dragon Grand Prix, the ILCA Atlantic championship and the 505 and Fireball Grand Prix.
