Overview

Founded on 14 March 1883, the Club Nautique de Nice is one of the senior sailing clubs of the Mediterranean: in 1885 it hosted France's first congress on a racing rating rule and founded the Union des Sociétés Nautiques de la Méditerranée. Based on Boulevard Franck-Pilatte below Castle Hill on the Baie des Anges, it offers sailing (catamarans, dinghies, keelboats), rowing and e-foiling, with a sailing school, holiday courses, para-sailing, para-rowing and adapted swimming. Its international Star regatta, sailed every year between Christmas and New Year since 1955, is a world reference for the class.
